Towards generic query, update, and event languages for the
Semantic Web
Wolfgang May, José Júlio Alferes, François Bry
Abstract:
We outline aspects of querying and updating resources on
the Web and on the Semantic Web, including the development of
query and update languages in course of the
ReWeRSe project.
When considering updates and communication of updates between
autonomous sources, reactive behavior plays an important role such
that an event language is required. This article provides a
systematic outline of the intended research steps towards handling
reactivity and evolution on the Web.
