Development of an Information System at the Health Protection Section at Volkswagenwerk Kassel/Baunatal (2004-2009)

The project started with a Diploma Thesis (Information Systems/Wirtschaftsinformatik) in 2004/2005. After successful completion of the base system in April 2005, further development and extensions take place in several aspects. Since 4.2006 the project has been continued by an external PhD thesis at (and funded by) the Volkswagenwerk AG Kassel by Dipl. Wirtsch.-Inf. Clemens Dubian that has sucessfully been defended on May 14, 2009. In 2009, the project has been moved into a company-wide project to be installed in several plants of Volkswagen AG.

• Clemens Dubian successfully defended his PhD Thesis Modellierung und Realisierung eines IT-Systems zur Verwaltung und Analyse industrieller Arbeitsplätze unter Einbeziehung von ergonomischen und gesundheitlichen Aspekten on May 14, 2009.

  On 1.10.2009, Dr. Dubian received the Innovation Award of the Marie-Luise und Ernst Becker Stiftung for his thesis.
